While it certainly confirms that his contract is up and he is moving on - cast your eye to the final sentence there : 'The choice will therefore be directed towards an individual with great creative talent and able to commit the necessary amount of time to the success of the brand.' It's a little bitchy is it not?
Normally when a designer leaves a brand they both put on their PR hats and start to talk about how much they loved their time there, etc, etc and the brand do the same. This seems to imply that Lam just didn't care that much and had no time for the place. Not to the mention the line about the creative talent!
It's yet another shake up at a fashion brand or house concerning a change of designer! I just dont know how is going to be next. It seems every time I take a day for myself - I come back and fashion is falling apart around my feet!
