Céline Dion has been in Paris over the past several days attending shows for Paris Couture Fashion Week. Per usual, the icon is not phoning it in with her wardrobe. Dion, who has been working with stylists Pepe Muñoz and Sydney Lopez while in Paris, has been stepping out in one jaw-dropping look after another (remember this capri-legging Chanel look?), and we simply couldn't let her stay in Paris come and go without calling out the controversial denim look she wore on Friday.

Dion's feathered Attico bustier and matching pink heels were certainly noteworthy, but it was her controversial jeans by Ksenia Schnaider that we're here to discuss. The Kiev-based brand is known for taking denim and turning it into wildly unexpected styles, like Demi-Denims, which resemble long shorts over skinny jeans, and Cowboy Pants, which look exactly like something with that name should. These denim styles aren't for the faint of heart, but being the fearless fashion fan that she is, Dion pulled them off like a pro. With her aforementioned feathered pieces, she wore one of the brand's newer styles: the Asymmetrical Jeans. One leg is wide, and one is skinny (which she rolled up). It basically makes the wearer look like they have on a different pair of jeans on each leg, but it's just one bold Ksenia Schnaider pair.

Jnco Is Attempting A Comeback — With Jeans That Cost Up To $250 - HuffPost

Well, this will severely cut into your glow stick budget.

JNCO — the brand most commonly linked to the late-'90s fashion trend of extremely wide-legged jeans beloved by ravers, skaters and eventually, Juggalos — is attempting a comeback.

And if you pine for the days when your pant legs had such a large circumference that you appeared to be wearing a prairie skirt from afar, be forewarned that a single pair will cost you a whole lot of money. And no, we're not just jerking your wallet chain.

Last week, JNCO relaunched with eight styles that cost $130 to $250. And while the prices may make you want to clutch your candy necklace, there is a method behind this madness.

Milo Revah, who founded JNCO with his brother Jacques Yaakov Revah in 1985, released the brand's licensing to the Chinese company Guotai Litian Group in 2014, according to Racked. Mixmag, a British electronic dance and clubbing magazine that wrote a feature about JNCO's recent relaunch, reports that when Guotai Litian Group acquired the license, the quality of the pants went down.

Consumers apparently noticed the difference, and vintage JNCOS became a "hot commodity." While the original jeans cost somewhere between $65 to $75, according to a 1997 catalog listing Jezebel dug up, people started selling them on eBay for "hundreds of dollars."

A 2015 BuzzFeed article found several pairs of JNCO pants being sold on eBay for $100 to $240, so there is some support for this claim.

If you check eBay now for JNCO jeans, prices vary. Some pairs are as inexpensive as $35, though it's unclear if the jeans were manufactured before or after 2014.

When The Cut was trying to wrap its mind around the concept of low-rise jeans coming back in fashion in 2018, trend forecasters and fashion insiders told the site that Gen-Zers are trying "to capture the trashy Y2K mood." They claimed these young fashion consumers were trying to be ironic and pointed to Instagram accounts such as @y2ktrashy or @paris2000s, which have tens of thousands of followers, as evidence.

So, there you have it: JNCO jeans are back, they're pricy as hell, and sellers seem to think they can get away with it.

Now excuse us while we dig through our childhood closets and open up a few eBay stores.

Sommer Ray will drop new items for her clothing line next month, and she wants her Instagram fans to be in the know about what's to come. On Monday, the fitness model and Instagram sensation took to the popular social media platform to share a couple of sexy snapshots, in which she flaunts her famous assets enhanced by her own-brand jeans.

In the photos, Sommer Ray is standing in front of a white wall as she rocks a nude, figure-hugging top featuring two spaghetti straps that go over the model's shoulders. As the second snapshot shows, the top is completely backless, suggesting it might be a bodysuit over which she is wearing high-rise jeans that are equally tight.

The light-washed, skinny jeans sit just above Sommer Ray's bellybutton, helping accentuate her full, wide hips and pert derriere. The distressed jeans also boasts patches all along the length, starting on the hip and moving down past the knees. As the model and entrepreneur indicated via her caption, the jeans are part of the Sommer Ray Collection, which is expected to launch in August.

While in the first snapshot Sommer Ray is facing the camera, the second pic shows her with her back to the onlooker, putting her famous booty on full display and showing the snug fit of the jeans.

The model is wearing her hair up in a high ponytail, tied with a white scrunchie that gives her look a wholesome '90s vibe that goes with the tucked-in bodysuit she is wearing. In addition, she is sporting a stylish, golden brown smokey eye that gives her gaze extra depth, and makes the green of her irises truly stand out.

The post, which Sommer Ray shared with her whopping 21.2 million Instagram followers, garnered over 740,000 likes and nearly 3,000 comments in under a day of having been posted — at the time of this writing. Users of the social media platform who are fans of the model took to the comments section to share their admiration for her, and also to offer their thoughts and expectations for the new items from her collection.

"[C]an't wait to buy them," another fan chimed in, trailing the comment with a couple of cats with heart eyes emoji.
